| In 1927, the Rancho Santa Fe Association
was founded as a nonprofit homeowners' association.
It enforces the Prospective Covenant, adopted in 1927.
This far reaching document requires the Association
to preserve the rural character of the community and
its natural landscape, and to uphold the quality of
architectural and land improvement. The protective Covenant
also requires the Association to maintain the health,
safety and general welfare of its members.
In addition to its regulatory duties, the Association
operates and maintains the golf course, tennis club,
playing fields, and riding and hiking trails for the
benefit of its members. |
